1 Corinthians 4: 1-2
"This is how one should regard us, as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of Goed. Moreover, it is required of stewards that they be found faithful."

Becoming a steward takes time, it takes commitment, effort, and dedication to something greater than yourself. It also requires rest, surrender, and humility. Moving to Florida this month has been bizar, to say the least. The drivers here are quite crazy but according to one of my housemates, I'm fitting in rather well. My time here thus far has been beautiful in so so many ways. I am thankful for the people the Lord has placed around me for this time, in this season to help shape who I am to become. I am honored to walk alongside so many in their shared journey of what it looks like to become a selfless, faithful leader of the Lord's people, to bring all adoration back to Himself.

A year before I left, I intentionally asked God to clearly provide a way for me to go. He has faithfully provided me with so much more than I realize. Walking and living out this faith we claim is a refining fire that the Lord uses to draw us back to himself, as a reminder that we are to be completely dependant on Him, His Word, and His love for us. This is the life he wants for us, a life of surrender, to live in wonder of who He is and what He has done not for our sake but for His own glory. Thanks to so many of you, I was able to move across the country, 1800 miles to learn and live what it looks like to selflessly lead with a servant's heart for His glory.

This week, August 30th is the official start of the Fall 2021 semester! Some of the classes I will be taking this semester are Spiritual Formation, Introduction to Christian Theology, Worship Leadership Specialization, and Music Theory 1. I am delighted to be here, to be a part of this genuine community with like-minded people, pursuing the heart of our Lord and Savior. I ask that you would pray for the Lord to continue to reveal Himself in a new and tangible way as I continue on this journey he has called me to. I ask for diligence as classes are starting this week and what was busy is only going to get busier. I ask for patience and a spirit of rest and contentment in this season of life and moving forward.
